Great little cottages that make you feel like you're at home. Super view with splendid isolation and quiet. Pleasant 20km from the nearest town, perfect for enjoying the black sky.
Check-in procedure could be clearer, as it was a bit difficult to find the cottages among the various farm buildings. Limited signage made it challenging.

The cabin at Vestri Petursey was absolutely beautiful. The spacious living room with its large windows allowed us to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding nature. The fully loaded kitchen was a bonus, as it had everything we needed for our stay. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, and we had the best sleep of our trip in the peaceful atmosphere. The owner of the cabin was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to assist us. When we had trouble finding the exact location, he personally met us and guided us to the right place. He even provided us with a travel adapter when we realized we had forgotten one. The fast and reliable wifi was a great addition, and we appreciated being able to stay connected. our experience at Vestri Petursey was amazing.
While our stay at Vestri Petursey was fantastic, there were a few minor drawbacks. The check-in process could have been clearer, as we had to rely on our international cell coverage to call the host upon arrival.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cozy and charming cottage we stayed in at Vestri Petursey. It truly felt like a home away from home. The notty-pine interior added a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cable TV and fast internet were also great bonuses for entertainment. We found the location to be very quiet and secluded, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The view from the cabin was absolutely stunning and truly showcased the beauty of the surrounding nature. The spacious shower with hot water was a welcome relief after a long day of hiking. The kitchen had all the basics we needed, including a coffee machine with plenty of coffee provided.
Although the pillows were a bit too soft for our liking, we simply brought our own to ensure a comfortable sleep. It would have been nice to have an oven in the kitchen, but we made do with the cooker and microwave.

My recent stay at the property was absolutely amazing! The owner was incredibly sweet and helpful, rushing to find us as soon as we called for the key. The house itself was cozy and comfortable, with spacious rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, just a 10-minute drive to the plane wreck car park where we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights. The view from behind the small mountain was breathtaking and provided great protection from the wind. The wifi was excellent and there was plenty of parking space. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this property for anyone traveling to the area.

The location of the cabin was simply amazing, with stunning views from every angle. It was situated near an unusual outcropping with a view of the sea, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers. The cabin itself was very cozy and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a nice shower. the host was incredibly sweet and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable.
One evening, the close proximity of the other cabins meant that noise from other guests became intrusive for a short period of time. However, this was not a major issue and did not greatly affect the overall experience.

Friendly owner, beautiful sunset at cottage. Euro 10 charge for towel and bedlinen. Spacious house with proper kitchen, dining, and living hall. Best location near Vik, close to Black Beach, Skogafoss, and Seljalandsfoss.

Great location near a town and far enough to spot northern lights. Very kind and helpful host.- Comfortable living room and spacious private terrace.- Bigger than it looks in the photos
Dirty kitchen with greasy toaster and poorly cleaned plates and glasses. Additional fee for bed linens and towels, which should be included in the total price.

The cabin had stunning views and the location was convenient. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked well. The wifi was also fast and reliable.
The cabin lacked proper cleanliness, with leftover food and hairs found on the floor and in the toilet. The cabins were too close to each other, resulting in intrusive noise from other guests.

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to Skogafoss, Planewreck, and Reynisfjara Beach. It was convenient for exploring the beautiful sights nearby.
One thing that I didn't like was the lack of communication regarding the key collection process. It would have been helpful to receive prior notification on where to go to collect the key, as it was a bit confusing upon arrival.

Owner was very friendly and helpful, and the cabin had all the amenities we needed. Great location with beautiful mountain views. Easy access to Vik and nearby nature reserves.- Enjoyed the cozy and homey feeling of the cabin, especially with separate bedrooms and a living room.
Certain parts of the cabin were a bit dated with stains, but it didn't really bother us. The location is a bit remote, about a 20-minute drive to Vik, but we didn't mind.

We got great value for our money at this cozy cabin. The room was spacious and well-maintained, with beautiful views from the deck. The location, although remote, offered a peaceful escape and a stunning view of Mt. Pétursey. The staff treated us with genuine warmth and friendliness.
The breakfast menu could be improved with a wider variety of dishes.
